The Magic of Believing

January 2019: Nina commissions the piece, The Magic of Believing for The Family Advisory Council at Nationwide Children's Hospital. The Magic of Believing will be the 2018 Award for annual recognition of Excellence in Family-Centered Care. This award is presented to an employee, health care provider or department of Nationwide Children's in recognition of their outstanding achievement in care that reflects excellence in the core concepts of family-centered care.

January 2018:  Several photographs are published in Christopher Kline's A Field Guide to Tropical Butterflies of American Conservatories.  Available here: Butterfly Ridge

January 2017:  2017 starts with The AMAZING CAT SHOW, an exhibit aimed at raising money for Colony Cats. Three of Nina's cats (Birman Blues, Under Umbrella and Ginger) are included in this exhibit. The show starts on January 13 and continues through the end of the month. 400 W. Rich hosts this unique collection of work. 

July 2016: July kicked off with Gallery Hop on the 2nd in the Short North. First Commonwealth Bank on N. High Street featured Nina's work in their lobby and conference room for the event, and for the full month of July. 

March 2016: The piece Apricot & Azure was chosen for the juried show Global Community: What We Have in Common hosted by Studios on High. This is a month long Hit the Hop show.

August 2015: Nina's piece Winter Dryad was chosen for the juried show Somewhere in Time: Seasons, Passages & Memories hosted by Studios on High during the month of August. The photograph sold on August 15th. Studios on High has been voted 2014 & 2015 Best Gallery by Columbus Monthly. 

May 2015: Nina was chosen to participate in the RAW SENSORY Art Show at Shadowbox Live in Columbus, Ohio. Over 500 people were in attendance and Nina's photographs were well received.

June 2014: four large nature themed collages were installed at The University of Toledo Medical Center's main Pavilion lobby. Two smaller butterfly photographs were also chosen to be displayed in this space.
